Despite being a natural biological transition, menopause remains one of the most under-discussed and misunderstood phases of a woman’s life. Research shows that about half of women report being uninformed about menopause. Furthermore, many rely on non-medical sources, which may perpetuate myths or misinformation rather than provide accurate, evidence-based guidance.
This lack of awareness has significant implications, which can lead to the misinterpretation or misdiagnosis of symptoms, delayed or inappropriate treatment, and diminished quality of life. Beyond the clinical impact, the absence of accurate information also shapes women’s perceptions and preparedness for this life stage, contributing to feelings of anxiety, confusion, and isolation.
In line with Aspen’s commitment to supporting women and enhancing access to reliable health education, Aspen EME launched the “Menopause Talks” video series in June 2025, as part of its Women’s Health awareness initiatives. This video series is also accessible in different languages for the intended audience. The objective was to break the taboo around menopause and provide medically accurate information that enables women to confidently navigate this important life stage.

The campaign featured 11 expert-led video episodes released weekly across Aspen EME’s social media pages and YouTube channel. By centering each episode on real-life, frequently asked questions and delivering content through trusted medical experts, the campaign ensured both relatability and scientific credibility. The series also explored potential management options, including lifestyle tips and strategies for improving emotional well-being.
Notably, the series was designed to reach a wider audience through a targeted campaign to help bridge the knowledge gap and normalize the conversation around menopause.
